Cover Period

The Clarity insurance covers your glasses for a specified period as mentioned in the Product Disclosure Statement.

Maximum Payout

The maximum amount the insurance company will pay is the invoice cost of your glasses.

Covered Events

The insurance covers accidental damage, vandalism, or theft of your glasses. It includes the following:

  • Repair Costs

    If your glasses are damaged due to accidental damage or vandalism, the insurance will cover the repair costs.
  • Replacement

    If your glasses cannot be repaired or are stolen, the insurance will replace them with an identical pair of glasses.
  • Manufacturer’s Guarantee

    The insurance covers repairs that are not already covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee, unless otherwise excluded under the policy.
  • Comparable Replacement

    If an identical pair of glasses is not available, the insurance company may, at its sole discretion, replace them with a pair of glasses of comparable specification or prescription up to the same value as your original glasses.
  • Lens Refitting

    If lenses become separated from the frame, cover includes the cost of refitting lenses to your glasses.
  • Worldwide Cover

    The insurance provides Cover for up to sixty (60) days during any one trip or journey away from your usual place of residence. This means your glasses are covered even when you’re traveling abroad.

Second Pair Promotion

If your glasses were purchased as part of a second pair promotion, the insurance will only provide cover for the second pair if you have purchased two (2) Clarity Glasses insurance covers. The Cover for the second pair is limited to the amount shown on the invoice for those glasses.
