What is covered and how much does it cost:
Policies are $44.99 annually for glasses with a purchase price between $149 and $499.
Policies are $49.99 annually for glasses with a purchase price between $500 and $999.
Premium and Coverage
- In return for the insurance premium paid, we will provide cover for your glasses during the period specified in the Product Disclosure Statement.
- The maximum amount we will pay is the invoice cost of your glasses, inclusive of GST.
Coverage Details
We will cover accidental damage, vandalism, or theft of your glasses during the coverage period by providing:
- Repair Costs:
- Coverage for repair costs if your glasses are damaged due to accidental damage or vandalism.
- Replacement:
- Replacement of your glasses with an identical pair if:
- Your glasses cannot be repaired.
- Your glasses are stolen.
- Additional Repairs:
- Repairs not already covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee, unless otherwise excluded under this policy.
Additional Coverage
In the event of accidental damage, vandalism, or theft, the cover includes:
- Refitting of Lenses:
- Refitting lenses to your glasses if a lens or lenses become separated from your glasses.
- Worldwide Cover::
- Coverage up to sixty (60) days for any one trip or journey away from your usual place of residence.
